- Contact Information: Names, emails, companies, and notes about professional contacts you add
- Career Context: Career summary, achievements, skills, and preferences you provide to personalize AI responses
- API Keys: Third-party AI service API keys you choose to provide (stored encrypted)

When you access the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Usage Data: Pages visited, features used, and actions taken within the Service

- Row-level security policies ensuring users can only access their own data
- Secure authentication using industry-standard protocols

Important: Data Shared with AI Providers
When you use our AI features to generate resumes or cover letters, the following personal information is sent to your selected AI provider (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or Google Gemini):
- Your full resume content (work history, education, skills)
- The job description you're applying to
- Your profile information: name, email, phone, location
- Your LinkedIn, GitHub, and portfolio URLs
- Your career context (if configured): career summary, achievements, target roles, skills, writing style preferences
This data is necessary for the AI to generate personalized, tailored documents. The data is:
- Transmitted securely over HTTPS
- Processed by the AI provider to generate your document
- Subject to the AI provider's own privacy policy and data retention practices

If you do not wish to share this data with AI providers, do not use the AI generation features. You can still use Offrd for job tracking, contact management, and document storage without using AI features.
Cookies and Local Storage

- Improve Service performance
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.
Your Rights

- Correction: You can update your information through the Service
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data from Settings
- Portability: You can export your data in JSON format
- Objection: You can contact us to object to certain processing activities
